A maximum of 6-7 people ride in a toboggan (a large sled used by the indigenous people) at the same time, and a dog sledding team of 12-16 dogs is driven by a dog sledder around an approximately 8-km-long lake.
The tour takes about 1 to 1.5 hours including explanation and waiting time, but the actual sledding time is about 20 to 30 minutes. The guide will guide you in the order of riding, taking into consideration your height and the balance of the sled. Depending on the tour conditions, we may ask you to split up or ride with another passenger even if you are in a group. Please understand.

A dog sledding team of 12-16 dogs will be led by a dog sledder to the Aurora viewing location, with a maximum of 6-7 people riding simultaneously on a toboggan (a large sled used by the natives) on the icy lakes and trails.
Afterwards, we will warm up in our cabins (huts) and enjoy tea, hot chocolate, and soup as we prepare for the aurora viewing experience of a lifetime. 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Returns from the aurora viewing sites to your hotel will be by bus or snowmobile. Warm clothing is not included.

The total time required is about 1 to 1.5 hours, including explanation, piloting, and waiting time, but the actual sledding time is about 20 to 30 minutes. The sledges are for 3 people, and after arriving at the midpoint of the lake, we will switch the piloting of the sledges between the front and back. (Depending on the tour conditions, it may be difficult to switch between the front and rear sledders.) The course is approximately 8 km around the lake, and one or two passengers will ride together with other passengers.

The total time required is approximately 2 hours including instruction and maneuvering, but the actual sled ride is approximately 60 minutes round trip. The sled rides are for three people, and you can exchange piloting on the outbound and return trips on the trail to the cabin.
You will drive your own dog team to the cabin, which is located on a secluded lakeside. Enjoy a beverage in the warmth of your cabin. This is our most popular tour!

Snowmobilers ride through the snowy forests on a dashing snowmobile on the lake. The tour takes about one hour, and each vehicle can accommodate three people.
Children under 12 years old are allowed to experience driving under the responsibility of their parents or guardians.

You will enjoy all that the wonderful city of Yellowknife has to offer. We will show you the Great Slave Lake, the unique old town and the downtown core (museums, the Provincial Capitol, shopping areas and restaurants).
A van will take us to the vicinity of Bechoco, home of the Tricho tribe. The tour will take you to a bison sanctuary about 100 km from downtown Yellowknife in search of the bison that live in this area (they are wild bison, so you may not see them). (Please note that you may not see bison in the wild, and no refunds will be made in such cases. Please note that we may not be able to find bison in the wild, and no refunds will be made in such cases.)
Snowmobile or car ride to Great Slave Lake, where your guide will show you how to fish using native ice fishing nets. Fishing is not done with a fishing rod. You will watch the natives demonstrate how to fish with ice fishing nets. Afterwards, you will enjoy a fish lunch (fish dish/salad/mashed potatoes/warm beverage). From 10:00 am to approximately 12:30 pm. *Warm clothes are not included.

We will join a First Nation camp and go on a walking tour with snowshoes through spectacular scenery. Your guide will point out animal tracks and explain about the wildlife that inhabit the northern lands. The tour takes about 2 hours including transportation and guiding, and the actual snowshoeing experience lasts about 30 minutes. Children are also welcome to join the tour, and the course is easy to follow with no elevation changes. Winter clothing is not included.

Enjoy a scenic hike to beautiful Cameron Falls with a guide. You will enjoy stories about the animals and plants that inhabit the Northwest Territories, and the yellow leaves that cover the area in the fall.
The hike from the entrance to Cameron Falls is about 1.5 km one way and takes about 30 minutes.
The course includes rocky terrain, so please wear comfortable clothing. After arriving at the falls, there will be a 10-15 minute break. English-speaking guide may be provided for this tour.
